#HappyNewYear – Looking Back on a Year of #Writing @naughtynell101

Another year over and a new one just beginning… It’s a nice time of year. Everyone is filled with hopes and dreams of what the future may hold and most of us are still in festive party spirit, visiting family and friends.
So, what have I learnt this year? Well, lots of new photoshop skills… Having taken a course at iPhotoShop I’m working hard on my images, and, even better, on my moving images which seem to be a great way to advertise books, especially on Facebook and Twitter. I’ve taken to using GifSoup and MakeAGif and am having lots of fun with my little picture book stories.
As far as marketing goes, I’m still pretty clueless. I’m working on a NEWLETTER at long last (I know – how slow am I?) and if you want to sign up for my freebies then simply add your email here: http://bit.ly/1MVubkR 🙂 I’m also delving into boxsets for the first time this year, and can’t wait to get cracking on those with my vampire stories, one of which will be released very soon!
I’ve found pretty good success at using DigitalBookToday and EReaderNews with new releases, and Facebook parties are so much fun!! I remember being horribly nervous at my first but now… nooo problem LOL! Oh, and my first book signing with SecondCity in Birmingham was AMAZING. All of you people rocked!! Must do another one soon.
So, I’m sending out my thanks to my friends, family, colleagues, and all of you wonderful people out there whom I’ve had a giggle with in the past year. It’s been so much fun. Let’s do it again soon! <3
